Designers Jennie Raymond and Monique Ayers met in fashion school in 2012. Jennie's dad introduced her to street-style fashion with her first pair of Nike Dunks, and she has been wearing 90s streetwear since. Monique was raised in the Bronx with her four older brothers and recalls wearing their hammy downs for as long as she can remember. They were both deemed the "tomboy" of their respective friend groups, and they both hated it. So, when they connected in college, they decided to alter the look of streetwear to bring their feminine side to light... without losing the comfort of the nostalgic 90s apparel they loved.
